We met Doreen 10 years ago during a dark and difficult time in our lives. One particular Winter's night she called and could tell we needed support. She was 95 years of age at the time. We heard a knock on the door and there she was. She came in supported, encouraged us and took us through the scriptures she knew so well and knew would help us. At midnight she got up to leave. Jon offered to walk her home. She said I am not old I can still manage to get back on my own. We loved her wit, intelligence, kindness, love. 

We loved her independence and her lovely hair and nailsxx
