An unexpected arrival

Created by Liz 3 years ago

Doreen was a very good friend of my mother Shirley Elliott. When I gave birth to my son William 15 weeks early while on holiday in Portugal, Mum and Doreen flew out to join us for a week to offer their help and support through a very difficult time. That was over 23 years ago. In the following years when Doreen came to stay with Mum, we would often visit, and she was always very interested to hear how William, and then his 2 younger brothers were getting on.

We will remember Doreen as a very kind and interesting lady, with a twinkle in her eye and a wonderful sense of humour.
